20.11.2003  Basel 2003

On December 3-5, our company will participate in the prestigious international fair “Eisenbahn-Technologie ET 2003” in Basel, Switzerland. The event specializes in railway transport and will stage a number of new products. UniControls will present a live demo of TCN-Gateway for the first time in its stand No. 132 (Hall 1A). A PC will change configuration and monitor the data flow between two TCN gateways. We will also feature a passenger information system with several types of information boards controlled by a train computer. Our stand will also present a line of modern speedometers with event recorder and color multifunction touch-screen displays for engine drivers.

14.10.2003  Vrútky 2003

The manufacturers and suppliers of products for rail vehicles met this year, after two years, in Martin-Vrútky, Slovakia, at the 7th International Railway Exhibition Žel-Rail. The exhibitors showed a number of technical news, and some of registered exhibits won the Gold Medal. ČKD Vagonka's train unit 471 has been one of the awarded exhibits. Our company belongs to important suppliers of components for this new double-deck unit. In particular, it delivers control systems and passenger information systems. Train Computer, which controls data communication of the train, is one of a number of products delivered by Unicontrols.

30.9.2003  Gold Medal for TCN-Gateway

From 15 to 19 September 2003 Unicontrols traditionally took part in the 45th International Engineering Fair in Brno. At the fair, it registered its product TCN-Gateway - communication node between the train and vehicle bus for data exchange control - in the competition for Gold Medal. After evaluation of all registered products, the special committee gave the Gold Medal to this device for its innovative character and contribution to the development of rail vehicles.

Since half of this January we have placed new web pages to the spinal net of Internet. The web pages you should load therefore more quickly. The web presentation has got a new graphic layout. Besides the information from the old version we have complemented the section on Trainings and Workshops, News and further more pages in section Applications and Products. We are planning to add continuously further information (namely technical documentation and expert articles) and to expand web further more. We appreciate any of your comments, requests, and questions that can help us.
